Written and recorded in 2007 with David Powers. Discovered recently in a folder of old tracks that were never made available online.

We've seen and we've felt
We've tasted and smelled
Enjoyed and we've loved, we've cried
And now it's time to change

Like the winter rains turning the brown hills green
This is a luxury of pre-history
and it's hard to see how we've changed this place
this land of grace into a land of shit and human waste

But we have

and now she's posing a threat

I don't wanna take the universe on
'cause though we seem to think we're strong, well she's stronger
and she's been around for a lot longer

Don't wanna stick around to see
what's gonna be happening between the land and the sea
but I do dearly love them so it's my responsibility.
We need to listen to what she needs

except the oceans might be boiling...

So we enjoy the smog making the sunsets redder
don't care to think clean air might be better
Appreciate springtime interrupting winter
but complaining and crying when our city's under water
we'll be complaining and crying when our city's under water

We might as well be fish in the sea
back to the ocean that's where you'll find me.
