lyrics

Already we are something
Already things are happening
Already we're here in it all together
Already we feel this won't last forever

We've seen and we've felt
We've tasted and smelled
Enjoyed and we've loved, we've cried
And now it's time to change

Like the winter rains turning the brown hills green
This is a luxury of pre-history
and it's hard to see how we've changed this place
this land of grace into a land of shit and human waste

But we have
But we have
we have so much left
and now she's posing a threat

I don't wanna take the universe on
'cause though we seem to think we're strong, well she's stronger
and she's been around for a lot longer

Don't wanna stick around to see
what's gonna be happening between the land and the sea
but I do dearly love them so it's my responsibility.
We need to listen to what she needs
we're driving Hummers, could be using our feet, might be losing our feet
could go back into the sea, de-evolve into what we used to maybe be
Prehistoric future fish is what we're gonna be
except the oceans might be boiling...

We have so much left
now she's posing a threat.

I don't wanna take the universe on
'cause though we seem to think we're strong, well she's stronger
and she's been around for a lot longer.

Can't we stop and think?
Life becoming thin
without any contemplation.

The air in our lungs
and the salty sea smell
think of Nature pissed off
and how fast those winds blow.
How we gonna slow them down?
How we gonna do this now?
I fear only time will tell.
So how we gonna do this now?

So we enjoy the smog making the sunsets redder
don't care to think clean air might be better
Appreciate springtime interrupting winter
but complaining and crying when our city's under water
we'll be complaining and crying when our city's under water

We might as well be fish in the sea
back to the ocean that's where you'll find me.
Together we could help but we're busy busy busy watchin' TV

And my circuits short out,
and we're history.
